1.1 Information you give us directly

• Name and email address when you sign up for our email list, download a free resource, register for a webinar, or buy a course
• Billing information at checkout (name, billing address, country, payment method). Payment card numbers are entered directly into Stripe and are not stored on our servers
• Account credentials (username, password) when you register for a course on npod.com
• Profile information you choose to add to your course account
• Communications when you email support, reply to our marketing emails, submit testimonials, leave comments inside the course, or fill out a form on the site
• Survey responses, refund requests, and any other information you voluntarily submit

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including:

• Device and browser data (IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, screen size, language)
• Log data (pages visited, time on page, referring URL, links clicked, timestamps)
• Course usage data (which lessons you have watched, completion percentages, quiz answers, login times) inside the LearnDash platform on npod.com
• Email interaction data (opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes) tracked by our email service provider
• Cookie and tracking data as described in Section 5

1.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from:

• Payment processors confirming a successful transaction
• Affiliates or referral partners who direct you to the Service
• Advertising platforms that report on ad performance
• Public sources you have made information available on (e.g., social media you have published)

Legal basis for processing (EEA / UK / similar regions)

• Performance of a contract, to deliver products and services you have purchased
• Consent, for marketing emails and certain cookies, where required
• Legitimate interests, to operate, secure, and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and conduct legitimate marketing where balanced against your rights
• Legal obligation, to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements

You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already conducted.

How we share information

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies on the Service. Categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary, required for site functionality, login, and checkout (cannot be disabled)
• Functional, remember preferences, language, and login state
• Analytics, help us understand how the Service is used
• Marketing, used to measure ad performance and serve relevant ads on third-party platforms

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may limit functionality (for example, you may not stay logged in). For more granular control on this site, look for a cookie consent banner on first visit, where required by law.

We honor "Do Not Track" signals where required, but the standard is not universally consistent and most modern browsers no longer transmit it by default.

Marketing emails

If you sign up for our email list, download a free resource, or buy a course, we will email you with marketing content related to our products and services. Every marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time. Even if you unsubscribe, we will still send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets, course access notices) because those are required to operate the Service.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to:

• Provide the Service to you
• Maintain accurate financial and tax records (typically 7 years for U.S. tax records)
• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
• Comply with legal obligations

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Email subscribers who become inactive for an extended period may be removed from active marketing lists for deliverability reasons.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access, request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correction, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion, request deletion of your data, subject to legal exceptions

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share in the technical CCPA sense), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

EEA / UK residents (GDPR)

You have all rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

To exercise any right, email support@income-4-idiots.com from the email address associated with your account, or write to us at the address in Section 13. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30 to 45 days). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access controls, and reputable third-party processors with their own security programs. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and any required regulators in accordance with applicable law.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the threshold). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@income-4-idiots.com and we will delete it promptly.

International transfers

Income 4 Idiots is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service you consent to that transfer. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EEA, UK, or similar regions.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers and posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
